I have to say, sitting here on Friday night I now have the GREATEST respect for web designers. I’m sure some others can agree with me.

10 action scripts later…

It took me forever to find the correct action script to link the logo to open the site. Apparently, “getURL” is no longer valid. Now it’s something like navigateToURL.

Thanks for the help with everything, Jill. Hopefully action script 4.0 doesn’t come out for another 10 years.

Anyway, here’s my site.

Here is the final product of my portfolio website using the skills I have acquired in my design classes that I have taken through my time here at Temple and especially in Publishing to the Web. The Flash animation adds a little umph to the website.

I hope that you all like it! I put a lot of hard work and effort into this. (not to mention the LONG hours of labor, but it was all worth it)

Week Eight

Today we will focus on writing ActionScript. We will:

Review ActionScript Basics
Review AS Syntax
Write code for two separate functions as a class
Create a scene, button instances, button states, and the ActionScript code to make that scene’s buttons work— independently.

You will have the rest of class to work on your Interactive projects, which are due next week.
